For Honour x Prince of Persia Crossover Event

Today marks the first guest article on VP Vibrancy. I was intending on writing a news article about the latest update on For Honor and approached Saucy_Reaper_ over on Instagram for some feedback on the update, being a veteran of both the online game and community. He not only supplied the shots I asked but some writing that was so informative that I asked him if he would write the article. He agreed and I present you with his news item on the Prince of Persia and For Honour cross over event!

Going through The Sands Of Time, embracing The Warrior Within and then assuming The Two Thrones proved to be, for many gamers, an unforgettable adventure. Just recently, Ubisoft teased a new in-game seasonal Event that placed many of the For Honor Community into speculation mode once again. Within the video game itself, players could see a large sandstorm on the war map clouding over the Knight's territory, the sandstorm became more intense as the Prince Of Persia Crossover drew near. This Event held the same build up and hype as the Assassin's Creed crossover that took place during December of 2018. For me, I personally became too giddy at the thought of my childhood Prince returning to honor me with his presence.

The Event Mode is a variation of the 4v4 Dominion Mode placing players against each other to capture the points and to stay ahead of the enemy team to reach the grand number 1000. But, there's a certain twist within: The Prince himself appears on the battlefield and gives the lobby a neutral test of might to everyone in the match. Defeating The Prince awards the team that struck him down a larger amount of points, making their win a larger certainty. Like I implied before, the Prince returning can help people enter the memory lane and smile from the nostalgia, piquing more interest toward the respective games of the series. Once again... good move, Ubisoft!

Chapter 2 of the Blade of Persia is only a week away, it will broaden the new experience and possibly become the greatest seasonal event to ever happen in For Honor. I deem it the greatest judging by the passion behind it and the enthusiasm of the fans of both games. It makes me hopeful that Ubisoft are possibly hinting at remastering the trilogy for the Next-Gen Consoles... one can dream. Only Time will tell.
